On the Bible
We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God. It gives a true history of the creation of the heavens, the earth, and of mankind. It contains the correct prophecy of the ages to come regarding the heavens and the earth, and the destiny of men. Furthermore, there is no salvation outside of what is contained within its pages.
On God
We believe that there is only ONE God (Deuteronomy 6:4, Mark 12:29, Ephesians 4:5). That one God is a Spirit (John 4:24), The Eternal One, the Creator of all things, and of all men. The Lord is first and last, and besides Him there is no God (Isaiah 44:6). There was no God formed before Him, neither shall there be after Him (Isaiah 43:10).
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God (Matthew 16:15-17). Jesus is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature (Colossians 1:15, John 14:7) and the express image of his person (Hebrews 1:3). Jesus was the WORD that was made flesh (John 1:1, John 1:14) and the spirit that dwelt inside of Him was the Spirit of the eternal God (John 14:10-11). Jesus is the creator of the world and nothing was made without him (John 1:2, John 1:10) Jesus is God with us (Matthew 1:23) and God manifested in the flesh (1 Timothy 3:16).
Since it took the shedding of blood for the remission (forgiveness) of sins (Hebrews 9:22), God, Being a Spirit had no blood to shed; so He prepared a body of flesh and blood (Hebrews 10:5) that He might fulfill the prophecy of Isaiah 43:11, “Beside ME there is no Savior.” Thus when Jesus was born into the world he was our Savior and our Lord. Jesus is the way the truth and the life, no man comes to the Father but by Jesus (John 14:6).
We do not believe that the “Godhead” is made up of three separate persons, but that it is made of the ONE eternal spirit of God that dwelt inside of Jesus Christ bodily (Colossians 2:9) and inside of us today through the Holy Ghost. The Holy Ghost is the spirit that overshadowed Mary to conceive a Son (Matthew 1:20) thus making the Holy Ghost and the father ONE. The Holy Ghost is the spirit of truth that dwelt inside of Jesus Christ, and that He promised to send as the comforter (John 14:16-26). The Father, the Word (Son), and the Holy Ghost bear record in heaven, and are ONE (1 John 5:7).
We Believe the name of Jesus is not just a name chosen by Mary and Joseph for an earthly son, but it is a commanded name given from heaven (Matthew 1:21) for the Son of God. Jesus is a name inherited by the Son of God from the Father (Hebrews 1:4). The name of Jesus is the only name that was given from heaven that can save us (Acts 4:12). We believe that one must be buried with Christ in baptism in order to be saved from your sins and that repentance and baptism in the Name of Jesus Christ is the only biblical way to have remission of sins (Colossians 2:11-13, Romans6:3-5, Acts 2:38).
