Emergency Community Alerts
White County E-911 uses an emergency alert system through Hyper-Reach, a product of The Asher Group, which allows us to automatically dial a series of telephone numbers to alert citizens of impending or occurring emergencies, including weather warnings. All active landline phones in Sparta and White County have been automatically registered to receive these messages. If you wish to be removed from the list, please call us at 931-738-8653, from 8 a.m. through 5 p.m. CDT, Monday through Friday.
The system also allows you to receive alerts on your mobile phone or by email. You will be notified any time an alert is issued in the area that includes the address for which you signed up. You can select to receive text messages, voice messages or both. You can register more than one phone and/or email. You can also register to receive alerts for more than one location, such as your home, work, child’s school, etc.

NOTE: When an alert occurs, White County E-911 will send an SMS to the designated number. If you do not want SMS sent to your number, you can send the keyword "STOP" at any time to cancel the SMS portion only. If there are any questions during the SMS session, you can simply call 800-737-5080 to obtain help instructions. If you have opted for SMS Service, then your alert notifications will be received via SMS (text-message) to the accepted mobile number at a rate of 1 or more SMS messages per qualified event.
